IEEE 1722 AVTP talker/listener for automotive TSN Ethernet — presentation-time-accurate, ASIL-B-instrumented, stream-integrity checked. It is delivered as a licensable soft-IP block engineered as an ASIL-B Safety Element out of Context — not just RTL, but the complete functional-safety work package needed to carry it into an ISO 26262 program:
A synthesizable IEEE 1722 AVTP (Audio Video Transport Protocol) talker/listener that frames a media stream into AVTPDUs and releases received AVTPDUs at their gPTP presentation timestamp, giving deterministic, bounded-latency AV delivery over automotive TSN Ethernet.
avtp_timestamp = capture_time + MAXTRANSIT from the 802.1AS gptp_time_i input, and emits framed bytes with sof/eof markers to the MAC-TX-like interfacegptp_time_i holds samples until due and late-drops any PDU overdue past MAXTRANSIT (LATEDROP count)sequence_num continuity are validated every AVTPDU; a gap, bad subtype, or bad version raises the protocol fault (err_code 3), not silently droppedfifo_ecc): single-bit upsets corrected transparently on read; an uncorrectable double-bit upset or pointer-DMR mismatch raises err_code 2IEEE 1722 (AVTP, AAF subtype), IEEE 802.1AS (gPTP), IEEE 802.1Qbv/Qav (TSN shaping, external), ISO 26262 ASIL-B SEooC (SPFM 93.90%, LFM 90.00%, PMHF 7.45×10⁻⁹/h)

Typically deployed in instrument clusters, camera pipelines, and safety-monitored display paths.
Pricing, the per-IP FMEDA, safety manual, and RTL data room are shared under a mutual NDA.
Figures are pre-silicon engineering-grade estimates for a Safety Element out of Context (SEooC); final ASIL sign-off is the integrator’s, supported under NDA. FMEDA and Safety Manual available under NDA.
